(FAQ) Frequently Asked Questions

How much will it cost me for a website?
There are many factors to be considered. For example, how many pages your website has, how much graphic content is involved, if the site will have e-commerce, blogs, message boards, a gallery and how interactive you desire your site to be.

How long will it take to design my site?
Construction of your site will begin as soon as I have access to your domain webspace and content that is to be published. The complexity of your site determines how long it will take to complete.

What information or materials will you need from me?
I will need basic information such as your name, the owner's name, business name, physical and mailing address, phone number(s), business hours, fax number and e-mail address. You will need to provide me with any instructions or a basic idea of how you wish your site to look. I will also need any site content that you wish to be displayed such as logos, pictures, brochures and reports to be e-mailed or physically mailed to me.

What if I do not currently have a domain or hosting plan?
You will need a domain name and a web hosting plan. I can register your domain name (yourwebsite.com) for you and provide you with web hosting service (hosting plans can be renewed after 1 or 2 years - your choice). Purchasing a domain and hosting is necessary in order for your website to exist on the internet.

What if I already have a domain or hosting plan?
If you already have a domain registered and have web hosting service, I can still design your website. I will need to be provided with access to your existing webspace in order to transfer files to it. In most cases, all I will need is the URL, your login name and password. Some hosting providers have strict security and will need information from me (my name, address and IP info) in order to allow server access.
